Select one of the poems (The Pomegranate” by Eavan Boland) from the Week 3 reading list.
Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper in which you explicate the poem and interpret its theme.
- Create a thesis statement that makes a claim about the meaning of the poem.
- Support your thesis with at least two academic sources from the University Library. These are in addition to citing the textbooks as sources.
- Identify and explain the use of significant poetic devices and elements and how they contribute to the overall theme.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines formatting.
